Love Story (Part 1)

I want to absorb this city
   through my pores.
I want to stretch out my arms
   to embrace her fully.
I want to drown my sorrows
   in the lakes and sound.
I want to love the soil
   with my flesh.
I want to plant seeds in her
   and watch them grow.
I want to spend every minute here,
    to fall asleep,
       and wake up,
         in the arms of this town.

She thrills me.
She fascinates me.
She brings me great joy.
